Olander Earthworks was founded in 2008 and is now owned by Andrew and Sarah Lonnquist who specialize in providing small cement sculptures to consumers. They have four specific product lines that include sand texture spheres, expressive wall-hanging faces, quirky tabletop heads, and wall-hanging animal heads. These products are all focused on the idea of play and interactivity.

Portland, Oregon is where the whole sculptural line is designed, hand-cast, and finished, and uses a local company and woodworker to complete the sand trays. The owner's value quality over quantity, which is why each product is made with the highest level of craftsmanship to ensure only the best merchandise for their consumers.

All products in the sand sphere collection are hand-cast and individually processed and pigmented in cement, giving each sphere its own distinctive quality. They are available in several different designs and natural earth tones. Each one is interactive, long-lasting, and created with the purpose to engage the consumer in a playful manner. Inspired by natural forms, these textured spheres offer a modern take on a zen tray, allowing the user to create continuous patterns.
