The idea for Barrel-Art came not out of a want for beautiful crafted wooden furniture; it actually came out of a desperate need.

During a move to Europe, owners Mike and Kambra Prieto lost everything they owned in a fire. They needed to get furniture immediately, but couldn’t afford to buy brand new items. That’s when they found inspiration from some of the European wineries and came up with the idea for wood crafted furniture made from wine barrels. They found the perfect barrel in a gorgeous French Oak barrel from Bordeaux, and the business took off from there.

The term dinnerware may seem ambiguous, so how do you know what to include in your dinnerware product line and what markets to target? These are items easily found on the kitchen or dining room table and sometimes referred to as tableware. Whatever term you wish to use, they are big business in gift and decorating markets.
