Who Are Non-Buyers?
Learning about non-buyers and why they don’t buy from you will give you great insight on numerous things. What type of customers are coming in to my store and which ones aren’t? Why aren’t they coming into my store? What’s different about my store and the store they are buying from? What are their demographics? All these questions will help determine who they are and why aren’t they buying from you. What are your non-buyers demographics? Maybe you find out their demographics are younger and you aren’t reaching them properly. Reaching younger customers is best through social media, email and anything internet. That’s what the younger demographic is all about. Establish a Facebook page or Twitter account. This will get your name and products out to the younger generation.
Your store offers something they would love to buy, but has no idea that your store exists. What if the demographics of the non-buyers are an older generation? They may not be internet savvy, but investing in newspaper ads or billboards maybe just the thing to reach them. Think about the non-buyer’s demographics and how to reach them. Getting your store’s name out there and the products you offer may just turn some of those non-buyers into loyal customers.
Discover what non-buyers are interested in. Determining what products they like. By doing this, you may figure out that you offer exactly what they like or can think of possibly expanding your wholesale product lines. Offering new items in your store never hurts, in fact it helps keep your customers curious and coming back for more. Of course, offering your clients what they like is always a must, but it honestly never hurts to offer them something new and unique. By researching what your non-buyers actually buy, you may find out you offer exactly what they’re looking for or that you are missing out by not offering new and exciting products in your store.
What To Do Now?
Demographics and interests will answer this question for you. Determining demographics will help you determine how to reach the non-buyers better, therefore, you can get them into your store. Researching their interests will help determine whether you carry the products they like or if you don’t. By converting non-buyers into customers, you are creating a stronger store. Don’t forget, once you’ve converted them into customers, you need to create an on-going relationship and you’re set.
Again, demographics and product interests will help turn those non-buyers into everlasting customers. Your store will get it’s name out there and create an increase in sales. By discovering new customers, you learn new ways to get your store’s name out and provide more innovative products to your already loyal customers.
