Offer gift packaging – Consumers love purchasing gift packages. It takes the “thinking” out of finding the right gift. Offer gift baskets full of personal care products or gourmet foods. Gift baskets always make wonderful gifts and consumers love purchasing because everything is right there for them.
Bundle & save – Basically the same concept as above. However, maybe you offer various services. Think about combining those as well. Create a great gift that features great personal care products with a facial if you’re a beauty salon or gourmet food with a cooking class if you’re a restaurant. Also, don’t forget to include free gift wrap.
Volume discounts – A lot of stores are offering great coupons now to entice consumers to purchase more. For example, if they spend over $75, offer them a 20% discount. Maybe if they purchase over $100, they get a free $10 gift card. It’s completely up to you. Your consumers could be buying $50 worth of products. When they see that if they spend $75 they get a discount, they’ll definitely want to look around more to see if they can find more great gifts. They’re so close to that $75, so why would they stop at $50?
