Customers are truly the key to your store. You constantly look for ways on how you can get new consumers into your store and innovative ways in order to keep them coming back. This week’s marketing tip will focus on getting and keeping customers. If you can follow these tips, you’ll have great lifetime customers.
Getting to know you – Market to them. Selling is not marketing, so don’t get those confused. Let consumers know how you can help them and how they can benefit from you. What can they gain from you and how can you be of value to them? Consumers what to know what they are getting and expect to get big bang for their buck, like some say. How can you market correctly? Create newsletters, talks to groups, net work, write articles and blog are all great ways to be heard and let potential consumers get to know you.
Let them know you exist and market your value, not your selling proposition. You can network online and offline.
Get them to like you – Once they know you and your company. The next step is getting them to like you. Consumers have plenty of options at their disposal. In order to get them to like you, you must do your job properly, follow-up and always go above and beyond with your customer service. Keep in contact with them and start to build that special relationship. Touch base with them, be relatable and keep showing them your value to them.
Build trust – With any relationship, there is trust. Start building it with your customers. Do what you say you’ll do. Be responsive to your clients, don’t overpromise, meet deadlines, and always put yourself in your customer’s shoes and ask yourself if that is how you would like to be treated.
Now, go set this in motion, get potential customers into your store and start building those relationships.
