Barnyard Friends have come across a story too sweet not to share. When Whitey the goat’s mother fell ill after he was born, it was up to the farmer’s wife to take care of him after the other goats refused to let him into their herd.
She did such a good job of taking care of little Whitey, in fact, that he soon began to consider himself part of the family. He learned his way around the house, trailed behind the farmer’s wife while she worked on the farm and even learned to ride alongside her on a tractor.
Eventually, Whitey learned from the farmer’s wife how to eat grass and play in the pasture. He learned that it was fun to be a goat. The other goats soon took him in, and Whitey learned to love his two families!
Author Brenda W. Todd tells the wonderful story of Whitey growing up in a way children will understand and love. Whitey’s journey is detailed through pictures and cheery text, which is sure to make lovable Whitey the goat children’s book a bedtime staple in many households!
Barnyard Friends Greetings/ Circle T Boer Goat Farm also offers a variety of greeting cards to bring the farm life featured in “The Goat Named White,” into many areas of life, including birthdays and thoughtful letters.
You can’t go wrong with the wholesome, touching story of Whitey and his life on the farm!
